Booking Through Thursday- How many books?
Booking Through Thursday asks:
1. Are you currently reading more than one book?
2. If so, how many books are you currently reading?
3. Is this normal for you?
4. Where do you keep your current reads?
I remember the Baltimore Sun’s Read Street having a really funny riff on this idea… the idea of monogamous (committed to one book) vs promiscuous (bouncing between books) readers.
I don’t tend to read too many books at once. And if I do, it’s by genre. I’ll have a novel, then maybe some nonfiction, and definitely a book of poetry that I’m reading, to varying degrees. Not usually more than that. I prefer not to have too many books going at once, and definitely not more than one novel at a time.
Having said that, I read novels fast.
Currently reading:
Forever: A Novel, by Pete Hamill
and reviewing:Ripped: How the Wired Generation Revolutionized Music
Also looking for a poetry anthology or two to add to the mix this weekend, for the sake of Women’s Voices For Change and Poetry Friday. Especially seeking anthologies centered on women poets whose work is in the public domain, if anyone has suggestions.

How is Forever? I read North River by Pete Hamill for book club and enjoyed it.
Interesting
Now I really want to read some too, have been cleaning all day
