Tam Lin is fantastic. I read it in college – a friend recommended it to me saying, “This is THE book for English majors.” Now that you’ve reminded me of it, I think I’d like a reread.

I don’t know the others, but I’ve heard good things about Sunshine. I’ve read a few of McKinley’s other books (I liked Outlaws of Sherwood). I’m not a fan of vampire fiction but I think I could trust her to do something different with it.

Less because of the cold-bloodedness, more because of the whole “snuggling with a predator” kinda thing. Especially since I’ve never been able to shake the “vampire as rapist” metaphor from my head once someone pointed it out to me.
