I’ve raised $20 for the NYPL. And still reading!
March 3, 2011
Since the start of the year, I’ve been raising money for the NYPL by setting aside $1 for every book I finish.
Dad and my friend Jaye have joined the project. See the list here!
I’ve been stashing my cash in a Rolling Stones lunch box.
And I just hit $20. 20 dollars, 20 books.
So I tidied things up a bit. Doesn’t that look impressive? Andrew Jackson is doing his part for the library.
Sheepishly, I admit that I’ve probably earmarked $25 for the library in total… there were a couple of overdue fines. Oops! Since it’s a good cause, I’m perfectly content with this.
For every book I read in 2011, I’m donating $1 to the New York Public Library. Donate now to help them keep me in books!
